Privacy Policy
Home of Coworking GmbH takes data protection seriously and complies with the applicable data protection law – in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – when handling personal and customer data. We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against foreseeable risks.
Your personal data is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties without your consent. To operate this website we use a small number of carefully selected service providers (processors); where they process data on our behalf, they are bound to comply with data protection and data security. The individual services are described below.
Home of Coworking GmbH (hereinafter “we” or “us”) operates the website www.gallery-office.ch (hereinafter the “website”). If you have any questions about data protection, or to exercise your rights, please contact hello@gallery-office.ch.
Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Genève, Switzerland. Infomaniak processes the data described below on our behalf as a processor.
Each time the website is accessed, your browser automatically transmits certain information, which the server stores in so-called log files. This includes:
- your IP address
- the date and time of the request
- the page or file requested
- the browser type and version and the operating system used
- the referring website (referrer)
This data is technically necessary to display the website reliably and securely and to ensure its stability. Processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the website. Log data is retained only for as long as necessary for this purpose and is then deleted.
Cookies and local storage
This website uses cookies and similar storage technologies. Some are technically necessary, while others – in particular for advertising and measurement – are only set with your consent.
Technically necessary storage is always active: a first-party cookie stores the consent choices you make in the cookie banner, and – if you sign in as an editor of this website – a session cookie keeps you logged in. This storage is required for the corresponding function to work and does not track your behaviour.
With your consent, we also use the measurement and advertising tools described in the following sections, which are managed through Google Tag Manager and may set cookies. You give this consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit; until you do, these tools remain restricted. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page, and you can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Consent management (Cookiebot)
To obtain, manage and document these consents we use the consent management platform Cookiebot, a service of Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark. Cookiebot displays the cookie banner, stores your choice in a first-party cookie (“CookieConsent”, retained for 12 months) and keeps a record of the consent given – the consent state, date and time, browser information, the URL and an anonymised technical key – so that we can demonstrate that consent was obtained. Your choice is also passed to Google Tag Manager and the tools described below as a consent signal (Google Consent Mode), which keeps them restricted until you consent. This processing is necessary to comply with our obligation to obtain and document consent for non-essential cookies.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Tag Manager is a tool that lets us manage and load website tags (small pieces of code) through a single interface. It does not itself create user profiles or store cookies, but it loads the tools described below, which may then collect data. When it loads, your browser establishes a connection to Google's servers, which may transfer data – including your IP address – to Google and to the United States.
Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), loaded through Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to help us understand how our website is used – for example which pages are visited, how long visits last and how visitors reach us. The information generated is processed on Google’s servers and may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
Processing takes place on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link. We use the resulting statistics solely to improve our website and our offering.
Google Ads
To measure the success of our advertising and to show you relevant ads, we use Google Ads, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), loaded through Google Tag Manager. Google Ads uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise your browser – for example to determine whether you reached our website through one of our ads (conversion tracking) and, where applicable, to show you our ads again on other websites (remarketing).
This may transmit personal data, including your IP address and information about your use of the website, to Google; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Processing takes place on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. You can deactivate personalised advertising in your Google account settings (adssettings.google.com) and manage or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
Microsoft Clarity
With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity, a usability analytics service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland), loaded through Google Tag Manager. Clarity records how visitors interact with the website – such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling – and generates heatmaps and session replays from it, which help us understand and improve how the website is used. Text entered into forms is masked by default and is not recorded. Clarity uses cookies to distinguish visitors; data may be transferred to Microsoft Corporation in the United States.
Clarity only becomes active after you have consented in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we ask only for your email address. We use it to send you your requested subscription and to notify us of your interest.
The sign-up form and the resulting notification email are delivered via Resend, the transactional email service of Resend, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA. Your email address is processed for this purpose; data may be transferred to a server in the United States. Processing is based on your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to hello@gallery-office.ch.
Factsheet request
When you request our factsheet, we ask for your name and email address so that we can send you the document and understand who is interested in the space. You also confirm that you have read this privacy policy.
The factsheet email and the internal notification are delivered via Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA); your name and email are processed for this purpose and may be transferred to a server in the United States. Processing is based on your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to hello@gallery-office.ch.
Interactive map
On our location page we embed an interactive map from Mapbox, provided by Mapbox, Inc., Washington, D.C., USA. The map is only loaded once you scroll it into view; until then no connection to Mapbox is established.
When the map loads, your browser connects to Mapbox's servers to retrieve the map tiles, which necessarily transmits your IP address and may transfer data to the United States. This is based on our legitimate interest in showing you where the space is located. If you prefer not to load the map, we also offer a plain link that opens the location in Google Maps only when you click it.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted by us on our own server. No connection to an external font provider (such as Google Fonts) is established, and no data is transmitted to third parties for the display of fonts.
Website administration
Editing this website is restricted to authorised administrators. They sign in through Google or GitHub using OAuth (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; GitHub, Inc., San Francisco, USA, a Microsoft company). Only the administrator's email address is used, solely to verify that they are permitted to edit. This login does not affect ordinary visitors to the website.

Right to correction
You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
Right to deletion
You have the right to request that we delete your personal data, provided that we process it unlawfully or that the processing disproportionately infringes your legitimate interests worthy of protection. Please note that there may be reasons that prevent immediate deletion (e.g. in the case of statutory retention obligations). Regardless of your exercise of the right to deletion, we will delete your personal data promptly and completely, provided that no contractual or statutory retention obligation stands in the way.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data by us.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have us provide you with the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by us. We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You may object to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time without giving reasons.
Right to complain
If you are of the opinion that we have violated Swiss or European data protection law in processing your personal data and thereby infringed your rights, we ask you to contact us so that we can clarify any questions. You are of course also entitled to contact the data protection authority responsible for your location.
If you wish to assert any of the aforementioned rights against us, please contact hello@gallery-office.ch. In case of doubt, we may request additional information to confirm your identity. This serves to protect your rights and your privacy.
